Prayed

Eid al-Fitr is celebrated for one to three days, depending on the country. It is forbidden to fast on the Day of Eid, and a specific prayer is nominated for this day. As an obligatory act of charity, money is paid to the poor and the needy (Arabic: Zakat-ul-fitr) before performing the 'Eid prayer.
Hear are  two Eid festivals a year but Eid al-Adha is considered to be the holier of the two. The first one is Eid al-Fitr, the religious holiday marking the end of Ramadan or the holy month of fasting.

Dresses

In this piriod Man and Woman wear Jilbab- garment that may be worn like a dress, usually with trousers underneath. Dupatta- a long rectangular scarf usually worn over the shoulders in front of the neck, or however you prefer. Women will sometimes use a dupatta over their head for a hijab. Scarf or veil - the head covering worn by many Muslim women.Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. The fast (sawm) begins at dawn and ends at sunset. In addition to abstaining from eating and drinking during this time, Muslims abstain from sexual relations and sinful speech and behaviour during Ramadan fasting or month.

Muslims must not eat or drink during daylight hours. During Ramadan Muslims get up early before dawn (Fajr) and have a light meal. This time is known as Suhoor. At the end of each day (Maghrib), Muslims traditionally break their fast with a meal called the iftar.Eid-ul-Adha is the "Salty Eid" because a larger variety of dishes than those served during Eid-ul-Fitr are savoury, including beef or mutton depending on the animal slaughtered in the house. The presents offered to friends, relatives, and the poor of the society include the meat of the slaughtered animal.

On Eid-ul-fitr, Muslims donate grains and other staple foods, a practice known as zakat-ul-fitr. ... Many Muslims are now adding new non-food traditions of gift-giving. Gray, a convert to Islam, says she makes sure her kids wake up to “age and interest-appropriate” presents, every Eid morning.
People don't generally give out gifts during Ramadan, but it is common to give gifts during Eid (the holiday that occurs right after - should be around June 14th/15th this year). If you do decide to give her a gift, that would be an appropriate time.

You can exchange Ramadan greetings by saying “Ramadan Kareem,” which translates into “Have a generous Ramadan,” or “Ramadan Mubarak,” which roughly translates into “Happy Ramadan.” On the last day of Ramadan, which is Eid-al-fitr, the greeting changes to “Eid Mubarak.
